Track faults announce themselves early. Catching one at the noise stage is a different job to catching it after the door has come off.

The rail has spread. Once the roller is not captured properly it is a matter of time before the door jumps out under load.

A dent or a kink in the rail. The door forces through it, and every pass makes the flat spot on the roller worse.

Usually impact, or a lag bolt that has worked out of the framing. Either way the geometry has changed and the door is no longer running square.

Stop. Do not operate it, do not try to lever it back on, and do not stand under it. It is being held by whatever the cables have left.
A roller that shed its bearing, a cable off its drum, a loose fixing or an impact. Realigning without finding this simply schedules the next call-out.
Minor dents can be dressed out. Track that is kinked, spread or creased gets replaced, because straightened steel rarely holds its shape under load.
Both vertical rails plumb, horizontals level and parallel, and the flare set correctly, so the rollers are captured through the full travel.
Rollers that came off a track are usually flat-spotted, and the cables often need re-seating on their drums.

What changes the price
Realigning a rail and rebuilding a door that has come off are very different pieces of work. Four things decide which one you have.
Adjusting a rail that is sound costs a fraction of replacing a section that is kinked.
The curved section is the most awkward and the most commonly damaged, because that is where the load changes direction.
Rollers, hinges, cables and sometimes a bottom bracket, depending on how the door left the rail.
The one you control. A door operated after it jumped the track does most of its damage in those few cycles.
